Siemens Industry is looking for a Product Engineer for our Grand Prairie, TX factory located in the heart of the DFW Metroplex. Our growing facility has over 1000 employees that produce high-quality, engineered and make-to-order circuit breakers. The Product Engineer is responsible for preparing recommendations for the design and development of new products or changes in existing products.

You will make an impact by:
  • Engineer mechanical parts, assemblies, drawings, and BOMs required to build electrical equipment orders
  • Provides engineering support and technical assistance on design feasibility to other internal groups.
  • Assists in the planning of detailed product development objectives.
  • Participating in the review of results to determine that such products perform in the intended manner.
  • Assists in standardizing materials, components and assemblies to minimize the items procured, manufactured and inventoried.
  • Learns product engineering basics while assisting in the development of new and improved products.

You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • BS. Mechanical Engineering
  • 1-3 years' experience with ProE/Creo; will consider recent college graduate for this role
  • Product Development or design experience
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • PowerPanel/Switchboard/Switchgear or similar products application or design experience
  • Sheet metal fabrication design experience and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) knowledge
  • Electrical schematics understanding

  • The pay range for this position is $53,410- $111,840. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
