Duck Creek Consultant
The Duck Creek Consultant is responsible for implementing, customizing, and supporting Duck Creek insurance solutions. This role includes gathering client requirements, configuring the system, integrating with other applications, and providing ongoing technical support. The consultant will work closely with both business users and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time. Candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Duck Creek platform, particularly in Policy, Billing, or Claims modules.
A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position In addition, NO C2C or 3rd parties, please

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
- Implement and configure Duck Creek applications to meet client needs, with 3+ years of proven experience in platform customization.
- Customize and extend the Duck Creek platform, including Policy, Billing, and Claims modules.
- Work with teams on solution architecture, design, and development, utilizing your 3+ years of expertise in Duck Creek implementation.
- Write and troubleshoot business rules using Duck Creek Expression Language (EXL), with prior experience as a must-have.
- Manage system integrations and data migrations, ensuring compatibility with other platforms.
- Participate in testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance) to ensure system functionality.
- Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance post-implementation.
- Mentor junior consultants and assist in training as needed, drawing on your 3+ years of hands-on experience.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Must have 3+ years of experience in Duck Creek platform implementation, particularly in Policy, Billing, or Claims.
- Strong understanding of insurance industry processes and workflows.
- Proficiency in Duck Creek Expression Language (EXL) is a must for configuring and writing business rules.
- Experience with integrations and APIs (SOAP/REST) to interface Duck Creek with other systems.
- Familiarity with XML, JSON, and data transformation.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with insurance software and systems beyond Duck Creek.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based solutions (Azure, AWS).
- Duck Creek Certification (Policy Admin, Billing, Claims).
