About the role:
This is a hybrid position with the requirement of 3 full days in our Omaha, NE office.
As a UX Designer your mission is to create an intuitive, compelling digital interaction for the property owner that results in higher conversion rate of visitors to leads and from leads to opportunities. Additionally, you will focus on internal system design to optimize the user experience for our Mortgage Loan Originators, Underwriters and Loan Processors to move applicants from submission to funding as efficiently as possible.

Additionally, you will focus on internal system design to optimize the user experience for our Mortgage Loan Originators, Underwriters and Loan Processors to move applicants from submission to funding as efficiently as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Learn about equity sharing agreements, Unison's products and alternative financing options in the marketplace and use these details to begin creating a winning user experience strategy.
- Build relationships with UI Designer, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Product Development, Product Management and Engineering team to understand their pain points, evaluate our performance indicators to establish a foundation for data driven decisions.
- Assess tools to determine the best approach to gather user feedback to make more data-informed design and experience decisions.
- Establish market and user research practices.
- Establish, measure and analyze key performance indicators to improve the customer experience.
- Work with Mortgage Operations to revise the internal systems to make the system more efficient and user friendly.
- Work with UI Designer to establish a user-centered design methodology
- Develop strong understanding of user personas and their experience preferences
- Use research data to make experience changes and suggest interface changes
About you:

- 5+ years of UX Design experience with a focus on adaptive web design
- Experience with prototyping using design tools such as Figma or other equivalent tools
- Experience running and analyzing usability tests with a user testing tool such as UserTesting, Maze, Userlytics, etc.
- Analytical and creative designer who is able to use data to understand the underlying needs of the system user and solve complex experience challenges.
The following are desired, but not required experience:
- Mobile native design
- CSS, HTML and JavaScript coding skills
- Digital Mortgage application, loan origination systems
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems such as Contentful
- A bachelor's degree in a human-computer interaction, human factors or computer science
