Job Summary:

This position, based in our New York or New Jersey facilities, be responsible for providing flawless execution of events as the primary control interface. Your primary focus will be to plan, organize, and coordinate the activities required to perform the installation and support of our product and services in the field. You will act as the primary point of contact for our clients relating to the deployment of their installations. Additionally, you will work closely with company's National Support team, Local Operations teams, and other cross-functional team members to ensure orders are organized and configured to those customer's requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer input and expertise to sales and solutions team in support of their responses to RFPs and proposal requests
  • Participate in event site inspections and surveys
  • Facilitate in planning, organizing, and scheduling the resources and activities required to meet project deliverables.
  • Aid in the pre-production planning through show completion
  • Assist in designing floor plans, renderings and scenic elements of the production
  • Act as a customer point of contact before and for the duration of the event, maintaining ownership of project from start to finish
  • Build and manage a Project Plan that includes all requirements for the event.
  • During the preparation phase, work closely with our clients, Sales Executives, Solutions Architects, Branch Operations and Necessary 3rd Parties.
  • Delegate tasks to support team throughout duration of project
  • Travel to and support of event production at various venues including hotels, schools, and convention centers.
  • Coordinate load in, staging, setup, support, and strike of all equipment
  • Directly interface with clients, contractors and supervise both direct and subcontracted labor while onsite
  • Work closely with the fulfillment branch, asset management & associated local resources to resolve project issues
  • Maintain open communication with our team of Account Executives on project status
  • Maintains active P&L for event and participates in any post show conversations

Qualifications:
  • 5+ year's experience in the Event Industry including "on-the-ground" Project Management
  • Mastery of Audio-Visual Installations and Live Event Production, including Audio, Video, Lighting, Cameras & Staging
  • Computer and software proficiency as it relates to management of events
  • Familiarity with plot design software (Vectorworks) is a plus
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to solve problems by thinking and working independently and as a member of a team
  • Meets deadlines and prioritize duties effectively in high-pressure situations
  • Ability to work well with peers, management, sales teams, and clients
  • Experience in working with and managing Senior Level Financial Clients
  • Considerable travel required with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
