No Position Purpose: To coordinate library weekend operations, including opening the library and desk scheduling. Oversee service desks and supervise scheduled students.
This is a part-time 20 hours per week onsite position.

Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp:
Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: • Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal communication skills. • Demonstrated ability to organize work efficiently; set and modify work priorities; while under pressure and despite interruptions. • Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative. • Ability to work collegially in a team environment. • Customer service experience with a diverse clientele.
Preferred Qualifications: • Two to three years relevant library experience. • Supervisory experience.

Key Accountabilities
Description: Supervises library weekend operations, including opening the library. Works in close collaboration with Baker Berry Public Services Manager and the Evening Circulation and Reserves Supervisor to facilitate communication between weekend and weekday staff. Monitors building security and contacts Safety and Security should problems arise.
Percentage Of Time:
30% Description: Oversees the library service desks and supervises scheduled students. Ensures adequate coverage and makes appropriate schedule changes. Ensures training materials and documentation for weekend duties are up to date and accurate; reviews with weekend staff as needed.
Percentage Of Time:
30% Description: Participates in all aspects of direct patron service, including assigned desk shifts.
Percentage Of Time:
30% Description: Responsible for on-site supervision of scheduled tower tours, including advertising.
Percentage Of Time:
5% Description: Management of library hours in print, on the web and in the integrated library services platform. Update building announcements and coordinate security coverage during extended hours of operations.
