Plans, directs, and evaluates the overall nursing care and functions in NICU during an assigned shift. Coordinates the activities of the unit and directs, organizes, and assigns work. Assesses, monitors, and educates on patient care. Institutes emergency procedures as necessary. Reports to Department Manager or Women's Service Line Director. Associate's degree in nursing required, Bachelors degree preferred.Must be licensed as an RN in the state of Alabama.Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) through either AHA or American Heart Association required. At least 3-5 years of clinical experience.
