What The Role Entails

CloudHQ is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Operations Team. The successful candidate will provide support for the Accounting/Finance Team in the day-to-day operations and development of several large-scale data centers. The Senior Accountant will work with Property Management, Operations and Accounting personnel as well as Executive level staff within our organization. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, monthly draws and general ledger account reconciliations. The successful candidate will be detailed oriented and able to succeed in a fast-past environment.

What You Will Get to Do

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements including supporting workpaper packagesReview corporate expense and overhead allocationsPerform account variance analyses and reconciliationsPrepare journal entriesReview invoices for proper coding and prepare for paymentReconcile and review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessaryPrepare monthly draw packages for submission to lendersAssist with due diligence tasks as required for Corporate Capital TransactionsCompile financial data and other audit requirementsPrepare monthly tenant and customer invoicesAssist with other accounting projects as neededTravel to sites, client meeting, trainings or conferences as requested and requiredPrepare monthly required tax filings for Sales and Use Tax and Exempt Fuel purchasesSpecial projects, as assignedRequirements

What You Bring To The Role

A bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)A minimum of five (5) years in a professional business environment, public accounting and/or real estate industryEntrepreneurial and thrives in a fast-paced, changing environmentSuperior organization skills with the ability to maintain progress against important deadlines.Ability to train and motivate junior staff membersAdaptability, with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same timeDemonstrated professional verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and WordExperience with Yardi or equivalent software highly preferredStrong sense of urgency to accomplish tasks on or ahead of schedule while still maintaining accuracyStrong business acumen with the ability to solve problems using analysis, technical and organizational expertiseExceptional attention to detail with a strong work ethic and self-motivationResponsible attitude with strong work ethic; leading by example in attendance, attitude and technical work product.Strong teaming skills; works well with internal and external team members and drives execution through collaboration and networkingAssertive personality style needed to ensure that processes are completed and moving on to the next stage of completionAbility and willingness to respond to emails and phone calls after hours in the event of an emergencyOur Ideal Candidate Will Also Possess
