Position Summary
As part of the continued expansion of the Jackson Health System, the Jackson Medical Group, a growing multi-specialty physician network of over 40 physicians who practice throughout Miami-Dade County at over 7 different specialty care centers seek to hire an Electrophysiologist to join our highly regarded Cardiac Services Team. As South Florida's most comprehensive cardiology program, we provide care and support to patients and families at every step of the journey, from routine cardiology care to complex cardiac surgeries. The Electrophysiologist will diagnose and treat the heart's electrical system issues including abnormal heart rhythms, or arrhythmias. JMG Associate Medical Director is responsible for the planning, diagnostic development, management and evaluation of medical/services at the clinic/center of responsibility.Diagnosing and treating heart blockages, atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia and related conditions.Provides and maintains JHS Standards towards continuous, intensive direct medical diagnosis, consultation, and health care services to JHS inpatients / outpatients.Opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of your patients.Competitive salary and bonus structure based on target WRVU'sEducation
Doctorate degree in Medicine is required. Fellowship trained Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist.
Experience
Generally requires 5 to 7 years of related experience.
License/Certification
Valid Florida Medical License.DEA and board certification or eligible in Cardiovascular Disease are required. Other specialty certifications related to specialty are a plus.American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) (ACLS) for Healthcare Providers certification with at least 6 months validity required.Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole preferred.
