As a Occupational Therapist , at Merit Health Wesley, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best-providing quality care to our patients!

Duties Include:

Evaluates patients and develops patient-specific occupational therapy treatment program.

Monitors, reassesses and modifies treatment program to meet patient needs in an ongoing manner.

Coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff (occupational therapist assistants, rehab aides, students, etc.).

Performs treatments demonstrating awareness of growth and development for each population group.

Applies knowledge of population specific needs when assessing/caring for newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients according to psycho-social and developmental needs.

Plans and conducts individualized occupational therapy programs to help patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities.

Requirements:

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.

1-2 years experience in Occupational Therapy preferred.

Current Occupational Therapist MS state licensure is required.

BLS certification is required.

PRN-as needed must be available to work some weekends/holidays.
