The Product Brand Manager is responsible for collaborating with the marketing team, the product development team & other stakeholders to research, create, market, sell, produce & manage licensed & private label branded product lines in brick & mortar & e-commerce sales channels.

Things you will be doing as Product Brand Manager include:

Cross-functional collaboration on brand management, product management, project management and product development to execute projects within assigned timelines

Work with sales, product development, packaging designer, customer, and licensor to develop product packaging, presentations & publications

Maintain accurate documentation of business processes, policies and priorities

Provide support and guidance to other colleagues in brand and product management tasks

Other duties as assigned

Brand Management:

Help build brand awareness & maintain brand consistency for diverse sales channels

Work with the marketing & creative teams to plan, develop & implement photoshoots, video shoots, marketing strategies, media activities, etc.

Collaborate with the packaging designer, procurement team & vendors to design, price & proof retail & e-commerce packaging

Assist in managing & generating ideas for digital content, such as e-commerce visual assets, copy, social media, product information, etc.

Identify new marketing opportunities to maximize revenue & increase brand equity

Assist in conducting marketing campaigns and tradeshows for product promotions

Product Management:

Conduct competitor and industry analyses for identifying and proposing product improvement initiatives

Collaborate with national product line licensors for product, packaging and promotional content submissions and approvals

Partner with procurement & other cross-functional teams to ensure items are setup properly in the ERP system & components are on hand

Assist in addressing product related inquiries and questions in an accurate and timely manner

Coordinate product samples and consumer product review campaigns

Assist sales, product and brand management teams with customer communication to help ensure ideal products are offered to meet customer specific needs

These are the skills you will need to be successful as Product Brand Manager:

Bachelor’s Degree required

Minimum of 3 years’ experience with the full product development lifecycle in CPG, both in the brick & mortar & e-commerce retail environments required; preferably in the bedding industry

Experience in project management

Experience working with cross-functional teams to complete complex tasks within tight timelines

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to multi-task

Expert verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical and presentation skills

Superior project management and interpersonal skills

Ability to effectively lead cross-functional meetings to work towards consensus

Customer Service skills

Must be an inquisitive self-starter, problem solver and team player

Able to work accurately & efficiently from verbal and written instructions

Able to prioritize tasks & deliver within tight timelines

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.

Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; maintains a clean and organized work environment.

Quantity - Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity.

Safety - Observes all safety procedures and policies; Reports potentially unsafe conditions to supervisor; Uses equipment and materials properly.

Things we consider a plus:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Finance, Marketing or related field preferred

Familiarity with licensed products preferred
