Position Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to provide financial insights that will help drive business objectives and keep management informed regarding any changes impacting financial results. The individual will partner cross-functionally and will drive accountability across the budgets in scope.
Responsibilities:
Supporting business case for US Logistics expansion & Business partnering with US Logistics Leaders
The candidate in this role will be responsible for managing a $1.3B OPEX budget across US J&J MedTech Orthopedics. Effectively managing this budget will require close partnership with Business Unit Finance (BUF) colleagues, comp & execution team, FP&A, as well as various teams responsible for cross-charging centralized expenses.
Responsible for leading planning cycle updates, latest thinking reviews, as well as Qtr close profit reviews. In addition, the person in this role will also conduct budget vs. actual reviews with BUF colleagues, as well as business leaders.
Provide leadership in headcount management/reporting for a ~2,500 headcount organization. This entails developing budgets and understanding variances in headcount reporting at every level of the organization vs. budget and vs. PY.
The candidate must demonstrate strong financial leadership by providing recommendations for improving processes and presenting results to upper management in a concise way. Doing this will require a deep understanding of OPEX flows at a platform/BU level to be able to explain results at a consolidated US J&J MedTech Orthopedics.
Responsible for accurate reporting Alliance business Financia in Financial close and forecast.
To be successful in this role the candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to work cross-functionally, be self-driven and eager to learn the business and build relationships, as well as being detail oriented.
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; a major in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
A CPA, MBA or CMA is preferred.
A minimum of three years of finance experience is required; equivalent knowledge of skills necessary to perform the position responsibilities preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
Familiarity with TM1, Tableau, and SAP (ledger) a plus
Advanced Excel and Presentation skills required.
Have a collaborative style and be able to work effectively in a matrix organization across functional groups is required.
The ability to work independently and effectively interface with various levels of management and external customers is also required.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail is required.
