The

Controller

at Scrubin will be responsible for managing all financial and accounting operations and will report to the CEO. This role involves overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Oversee all accounting operations, including invoicing, payroll, AR, AP, cash receipts and disbursements, and inventory accounting. Support the human resources function Supervise month-end and year-end close processes including journal entries and account reconciliations. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and analyses. Ensure internal control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Research technical accounting issues for compliance. Qualifications Include:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred At least eight years' experience in accounting roles, including experience as a Controller or in a similar role Experience with creating financial statements and analyses Experience managing month-end and year-end close process Skilled in ERP systems Proficient Excel skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and management Strong team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience in an entrepreneurial environment is a plus
