License: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is required. Certifications: - Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification upon hire or obtained within 60 days of hire with prior approval.- ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for the unit is preferred. Must-Have: - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing- A Registered Nurse with an ASN/ADN degree must complete a BSN degree within four (4) years unless exempt due to prior continuous experience. Job Description: - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with accepted practice standards.- Evaluate health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data.- Perform health teaching and health counseling.- Provide supportive and restorative therapy and treatment, directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching.- Execute delegated medical functions.- Refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment.- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.- Document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.- Use resources as needed.- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization and abide by service behavior standards.- May be required to float to other departments based on business needs.- May be required to be on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.- Must satisfactorily perform each essential duty, with reasonable accommodations made for individuals with disabilities, if necessary.Please apply through our career site if interested in joining our team and making a difference in patient care.
