Come join a facility that believes in Hope, Health, and Healing!How you will make an impact:The Intake Coordinator is responsible for coordination of admission, assessment and referral of incoming patients including the coordination of Provider assessments and initiation of the admission process. The Intake Coordinator provides technical assistance to the discharge planning process, under the direction of the Intake Director.Who We Are:Cedar Hills Hospital is a 98-bed behavioral health hospital and Outpatient Services program in Portland, Oregon dedicated to healing patients' minds and bodies. Qualifications •Registered Nurse with bachelor's degree or master's degree in social services or related field.•One or more years' experience in psychiatric hospital or similar setting, preferably with intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting with supervisory experience.•Licensed to practice in the State of Oregon as an RN, LMSW, LCSW, LPC or related licensure.•A working knowledge of the DSM-V and the Mental Status Exam.•A working knowledge of the Addiction and Recovery field preferred•Successful completion of Crisis Management and Service Excellence training must occur within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting in any restraining procedures. Must be able to pass a competency exam for the area upon hire.
