As the Cold Food Supervisor, you will lead our Food Department, overseeing a team of 10+ employees focused on delivering top-quality products to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring that food production meets strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards.How You'll Make a Difference
Supervise team to ensure food is produced and assembled by FDA, USDA, HACCP, and airline specificationEnsure on-time and accurate food production to meet Kitchen Ready TimesConduct daily manpower planning and adjust as necessary to ensure efficient allocation of labor.Maintain Knife Log and ensure compliance with Knife PolicyDevelop and implement operational procedures and protocols to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality control.Manage scheduling, payroll, and staffing requirements to meet operational needs while controlling labor costs.Analyze performance metrics and financial data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.Resolve customer complaints and inquiries promptly and effectively, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction.Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the food department.Train, mentor, and motivate staff to uphold high standards of performance, professionalism, and customer service.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Bachelor’s degree or
equivalent knowledge preferredOne to three years of related work experience in a food production environmentProblem-solving and leadership skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to develop and lead others to obtain desired results & achieve productivity goalsWorking knowledge of OSHA, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), FDA, USDA, and EPA regulationsExcellent verbal, written, and organizational skills are required along with the ability to multi-task
