Frequent communication with the VP of Operations, CEO, and VP of Sales. is highly preferredPrincipal Duties:Create, establish, revise, adapt and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all accounting functionsPrepare all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agenciesEnsure that accounting and financial policies and practices comply with GAAP and other governing organizationsDevelop and maintain the company's quarterly and annual financial budgetMaintain the Company's Work in Progress (WIP) reportPrepare forecasting and other financial reporting for upper managementDevelop and maintain a system of internal controlsDetermine accountabilities; communicate and enforce values, policies, and proceduresReconcile accounts, including AP/AR, balance sheet, income, and bank statementsMaintain timely and accurate account reconciliationsPrepare monthly WIP reports and assist 3rd party administrators with preparing monthly and year-end financial statementsAssist 3rd party CPA with tax preparationDaily cash management, including forecastingOversee accounts payable, including payments and lien releasesOversee project contract administration and billingsOversee preparation and filing of quarterly and annual payroll reportingOversee all subcontractor contract administration, including certified payrollDevelop, manage and train accounting personnel as requiredResponsible for accounting software maintenance and setupCoordinate work relating to both internal and external audits in the periodic review of the company's financial records.
