What you'll doWe're looking for a self-motivated, hands-on Front End engineering manager for In Product Growth, who will be leading a best-in-class engineering team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building React component libraries.You will do this while working with a team of passionate people, who care about building scalable front-ends and delivering the best solutions to our customers.This position is a people manager role reporting to the Sr. Manager, Engineering.ResponsibilitiesHelp define the vision and roadmap for In Product Growth initiativesLead a team of engineersWork with other project teams to identify dependencies and build shared codeImplement and deliver Docusign's design system through the component libraryCollaborate with the UX organization and participate in design reviewsOwn and deliver accurate effort estimations for each release cycleWork as part of a development team in the design, implementation, testing and release of new solutionsLead team to architect and build high-quality, ship-ready code with unit tests
Job DesignationHybrid:
Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. Preferred job designations are not guaranteed when changing positions within Docusign. What you bringBasicBS degree in Computer Science or related field5+ total years industry experience in Software Engineering5+ years of hands-on/coding experience developing JavaScript libraries, with focus on performance and scalability3+ years of engineering management experiencePreferredExperience building React component libraries used across multiple projectsDeep knowledge of HTML and CSS and how the web worksAppreciation for good designs and the ability to work well with user experience teamsExperience with Git, continuous integration and deployment toolsExperience working in an agile development environment
Wage TransparencyPay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:California: $151,800.00 - $245,150.00 base salaryWashington and New York (including NYC metro area): $145,800.00 - $214,350.00 base salaryThis role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.Global benefits provide options for the following:Paid Time Off: earned time off, as well as paid company holidays based on regionPaid Parental Leave: take up to six months off with your child after birth, adoption or foster care placementFull Health Benefits Plans: options for 100% employer paid and minimum employee contribution health plans from day one of employmentRetirement Plans: select retirement and pension programs with potential for employer contributionsLearning and Development: options for coaching, online courses and education reimbursementsCompassionate Care Leave: paid time off following the loss of a loved one and other life-changing events
