Agile Coach
to join our team. This is an important role to help identify key measures of organizational and team agility and use that data to help influence positive change to improve business outcomes. The
Agile Coach
seeks to educate, coach, and mentor engineering, product management, and leadership staff on adopting an Agile mindset, practicing optimal Agile practices, becoming self-organizing, working across teams-of-teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and optimizing planning and decision making in ways that are most advantageous to the business.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork with leadership and team members to help identify organizational impediments and opportunities for improvement, and define measurable objectives for their teams.Educate, coach, and mentor, team members, and leaders at various levels to improve organizational outcomes thru the application and adaptation of Lean/Agile practices to meet their business needs.Utilize Power BI to create extensible and reusable metrics dashboards that help unify the understanding of team and ART level metrics beyond what is available from the ALM tools (e.g., ADO, Jira).Leverage metrics dashboard to assess organizational agility and foster a culture of continuous improvement within individuals, teams, and teams-of-teams.Foster a culture of continuous learning through the ongoing and as-needed creation and delivery of custom training/workshops, delivery of SAFe certification classes (on-site and virtual), regular publication of topical content.Facilitate, teach, and/or mentor conflict resolution discussions and alternative approaches to achieve desired business outcomes.Participate as a member of the TAA-NA Lean Agile Center of Excellence to define and drive agile transformation strategy.Work in a variety of styles (hands-on, consultant, or coaching) with new and existing teams of various sizes and locations, depending on need.Partner with Scrum Masters, RTEs, and Agile Coaches across the organization to align on driving the intended agile transformation outcomes.Required Experience:Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience8+ years of experience working in software product development organizations using Agile practices in one or more of the following roles: Scrum Master, Release/Solution Train Engineer, Agile Coach/SPC.2+ years of experience as an Agile Coach for multiple teams in a software product development organization.2+ years of hands-on experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI, including experience sourcing data from Azure DevOps and/or Jira preferred.Proficiency in DAX (data analysis expressions) and Power Query.First-hand practical experience implementing Lean/Agile practices and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) in large software product development organizations.Demonstrated experience in fostering an Agile mindset across large software product development organizations (business, tech, operations) and coach teams through the transition to Agile practices that resulted in improvements to organizational outcomes.Presentation, facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills, including coaching and mentoring.Experience influencing peers and stakeholders and leading change.Passionate about fostering the continued growth of peers, managers, and team members.Driven, curious, continuous learner who strives to understand the business impact of work.Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Practitioner (SP), or other Scrum Alliance certifications, Scrum.org, or SAFe certifications.SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification or equivalent.Be the Difference
