This is a PROACTIVE requisitionRequired SkillsJob DescriptionJoin our team as a Senior SAFe Scrum Master/Team Coach (SM/TC) and become a vital leader in our Agile environment. As a servant leader and coach, you'll play a crucial role in nurturing our Agile teams and ensuring the delivery of value. Guiding the team and Agile Release Train (ART), you'll cultivate Agile values, principles, and success patterns, fostering an environment conducive to high performance.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Mentor teams in self-organization, nurturing them towards greater maturity.Demonstrate expertise in Scrum techniques and artifacts, including definition of done, user story refinement, automated testing, backlog refinement, and PI Planning.Support team members in resolving conflicts, problem-solving, and decision-making, emphasizing persuasion over authority.Foster a culture of continuous learning, aiding team members in developing a growth mindset.Ensure transparency within the team by updating information radiators.Coach the team in various Agile methods beyond Scrum, such as SAFe, Kanban, Flow, Built-in Quality, and BDD.Prepare the team for PI Planning and facilitate Iteration events to plan, sync, review, inspect work, and retrospect.Work within the ART's cadence and synchronization, ensuring alignment, dependency management, Release on Demand, and rapid integrated learning cycles.Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to maximize the solution's value.Establish a Kanban board for the team to visualize work and improve flow.Measure and optimize flow, competency, and outcomes using OKR metrics to enhance overall performance.Advocate for Built-in Quality practices to enable fast, reliable execution.Cultivate and support Agile Team attributes, including self-management, alignment, collaboration, transparent communication, trust, and a sense of purpose.Encourage high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.Actively pursue personal development to become a more effective Scrum Master/Team Coach.Support the overall adoption of SAFe across the enterprise by coaching stakeholders and non-agile teams on effective interactions with Agile Teams.Participate in Communities of Practice (CoPs) and support SAFe Practice Consultants (SPCs).Serve as a Lean-Agile Leader, modeling the mindset, values, and principles for others.Assist the team in acquiring T-shaped skills.Facilitate cross-team collaboration to bring whole product solutions to market.Represent the team in all ART events and attend other teams' events as necessary.Build trust between the team and stakeholders, improving alignment and forecasting reliability.Coach the Innovation and Planning (IP) Iteration to ensure time for innovation, continuing education, PI planning, and Inspect and Adapt (I&A) events.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master/Team Coach in a large enterprise.Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of related work experience/schooling.Expertise in Jira Software, Confluence, FigJam, Jira Align, and AgilityHealth.SAFe 6.0 Scrum Master Certification (Required).Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.Preferred certifications: SAFe SASM 6.0, SAFe SPC 6.0, SAFe SA 6.0, SAFe RTE 6.0, CSM, SAFe Studio Experience, ICAgile.
