Our capabilities include cyber space operations, cyber defense and resiliency, vulnerability research, ubiquitous technical surveillance, data intelligence, lifecycle mission enablement, and software modernization.Nightwing is seeking a Scrum Master/Team Coach to help coach and guide the Agile teams supporting the Solutions Engineering Team within the Office of the Chief Engineer. The Scrum Master/Team Coach will serve as the servant leader for the Agile teams to ensure clear communication and remove impediments to help the team succeed in meeting its goals and objectives. The Scrum Master/Team Coach is expected to have a thorough understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and will be able to use the appropriate Agile methodology (Scrum/XP/Kanban) to facilitate the Agile teams’ activities.Responsibilities Include:Exhibit Lean-Agile leadership: Help the team embrace Lean-Agile Values, adopt and apply Lean-Agile Principles, and implement Lean-Agile practices.Understand and apply the lean-agile principles and practices of Scrum and Kanban methodologies.Coach the team on setting and meeting PI and sprint goals.Lead team efforts in relentless improvement.Facilitate meetings including Team Sync, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Team Retrospective, and Backlog Refinement Sessions.Support the Product Owner in managing the backlog and guiding the team.Eliminate impediments actively to maximize throughput.Promote SAFe quality practices and help the team define and document their story implementation process.Build a high-performing team and manage interpersonal conflicts.Protect and communicate with management and outside stakeholders.Coordinate with other teams and represent the team in cross-team Coaches Sync.Facilitate preparation and readiness for ART events.Support estimating: Guide the team in establishing normalized estimates.Required Skills:Must be a US CitizenActive Secret (S) clearance. Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearanceMust be able to obtain DHS Suitability10+ years of directly relevant experience4-6 years of Agile delivery experience and recent hands-on experience as a successful Scrum MasterStrong problem-solving and influencing skillsExcellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skillsExperience working with various audiences, technical and non-technicalExperience working on software development teams and understanding both SDLC and Agile FrameworkExperience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Extreme Programming, KanbanProficient in using Jira.Required Education:Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field. Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education.The salary range for this role is 130,000 USD - 272,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
