Kinetik employees have decades of experience in West Texas and provide all the important services our customers need to deliver gas and crude oil production to market, which include gathering, transportation, compression, processing and produced water management.Schedule: M-F, 8-5Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The Project Engineer will engineer, execute, and manage midstream pipeline and facility projects while utilizing a deep technical knowledge and focus on customer service. Other duties include:Work independently on projects/technical assignmentsDefine and prepare project scopes and cost estimates for pipeline and facility projectsManage project costs and schedulesExecute multiple concurrent projects simultaneouslyProvide technical guidance to support operations and other internal and external stakeholdersLead teams to identify and solve technical and project management issuesMaintain a strong understanding of industry and operational requirementsUtilize best practices and safety standardsAssist Management in making informed decisionsInterface with customers and stakeholders, and communicate the status of developmental activitiesPerform a wide spectrum of assignments, requiring technical evaluation, innovation, and judgement while maintaining customer satisfactionEvaluate current processes to ensure continuous improvementCoordinate with construction personnel to ensure operational and regulatory requirements are met on all projectsOversee third party contract personnel engaged in projectsMaintain a focus to detail across all work productsAll other duties as assignedEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical or Petroleum Engineering2-4 years of relevant downstream, midstream and upstream engineering experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and customer focusExperience using engineering design software, including, but not limited to: Promax, Ariel Performance, Fisher Sizing, Daniel’s sizing, etc.Working Conditions:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerAvailable outside of normal working hours as needed for business necessityMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at timesMust be able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditionsPhysical Requirements:Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standardsAbility to work effectively in all working conditions noted above.Will require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs. in a safe manner on an occasional basis.Ability to possess and maintain a valid driver's license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company.Kinetik is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate against qualified applicants on the basis of actual or perceived race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, genetic information, citizenship status, or any other basis prohibited by law.
