Kinetik employees have decades of experience in West Texas and provide all the important services our customers need to deliver gas and crude oil production to market, which include gathering, transportation, compression, processing and produced water management.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The Director of Field Operations is
responsible for the safe, reliable and cost-effective operation of natural gas, NGL, crude oil and pipeline system operations, compressor stations, pump stations, terminals, lacts and all related equipment and supervision of multiple field operations personnel.Plan, schedule, assign and direct work of field operations supervisors and personnel.Ensure that work is completed in accordance with internal standards following approved policies, procedures, safety rules, budgets, and in a manner that promotes customer satisfaction.Manage and coordinate all PHMSA and regulatory requirements and be prepared to assist during any inspections or audits for the area of responsibility.Provide leadership and manage the planning and direction of activities at multiple locations within the area.Supervise contract personnel engaged in construction, testing and operations of facilities.Responsible for the operation and maintenance of equipment, instrumentation, pumps, vessels, pipelines, compressors, auxiliary equipment, engines, turbines, motors, cooling equipment, valves, seals, and other related equipment.All other duties as assigned.Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent required10+ years of applicable midstream industry experience requiredPrevious supervisory experience requiredAbility to work independently and as a teamUnderstanding of gas and crude oil gathering systemsPossess and maintain a valid driver license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the companyGood communicator, work planner with excellent work ethic and background in computer skills utilizing Microsoft OfficeWorking Conditions:Will be working in an office environment with prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.Will work outdoors in adverse or extreme weather conditions.Will be required to frequently drive to other field facilities within their assigned region.Available outside of normal working hours as needed for business necessity.Physical Requirements:Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standardsAbility to work effectively in all working conditions noted above.Will require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs. in a safe manner on an occasional basis.Ability to possess and maintain a valid driver's license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company.Kinetik is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate against qualified applicants on the basis of actual or perceived race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, genetic information, citizenship status, or any other basis prohibited by law.
