In certain jurisdictions, CBIZ CPAs operates under its previous name, Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C.Essential Functions and Primary DutiesPrepare benefit planning illustrations and present them to clients.Conduct year-end testing and compliance work to ensure adherence to applicable regulations.Foster strong relationships with vendors and referral partners, acting as a liaison to maintain service quality.Maintain a professional demeanor while providing excellent customer service to clients.Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in order to meet all deadlines promptly.Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of plan administration.Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients and team members.
Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience in pension administration or a related financial services role is highly desirable.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is a plus.TPA credentials such as QKA (Qualified 401(k) Administrator) or QKC (Qualified 401(k) Consultant) are preferred.Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and handle complex tasks with minimal supervision.Strong ability to prioritize tasks to meet all deadlines.Ability to develop a personal network within the business community and other firm service lines for the purpose of business development.
Qualifications RequiredHigh school diploma or GED2 years experience in office environment and preferably performing as an administrative assistantMust have knowledge of administrative proceduresProficient use of applicable technologyDemonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
