The ideal candidate will collaborate with our campus partners to analyze business objectives, facilitate business requirements definition, and recommend/implement business processes and technical solutions that provide the best return on investment to the organization.This Application Development Specialist position will be part of the Student Applications team, which provides IT solutions and support for administrative units on campus that support our students (Registrar, Student Affairs, Student Accounts, Admissions, Financial Aid, etc).This position is with the Office of Information Technologies (OIT) at the University of Notre Dame. The OIT has been recognized for 10 consecutive years in IDG’s Insider Pro and Computerworld’s best place to work in IT.Minimum Qualifications

Experience evaluating, developing, and implementing IT solutionsExperience designing and developing integrations to transfer data between various systemsGreat attention to detail and high level of accuracyOutstanding writing and verbal communication skillsProven ability to learn and use new technology toolsAuthorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications

Either an associate’s/bachelor’s degree or experience as an application developerExperience providing technical support for a variety of applications to address issues from end-usersProficiency in the use of integration (API) development technologies (PL/SQL, Ruby, Talend, Python, etc)The University of Notre Dame seeks to attract, develop, and retain the highest quality faculty, staff, and administration.
