We're focused on purpose-driven work, and strongly believe what's good for pets, people and our planet is good for Petco.ScopeSupport Petco's Global Brands Operations through coordination of Wholesale International requirements, vendor management and negotiation, liaising with Global Sourcing Partners; including the Petco Overseas Offices. Global Brands Associate Manager will drive pricing and growth opportunities and is responsible for supporting PGB Operations team in execution and strategy. The incumbent must demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The incumbent must also be eager to learn and pivot based on PGB customer needs, and possesses the aptitude to drive measurable business results. The ideal candidate would have experience in Sourcing, Vendor Management and Analytics background working in retail or in another field.Essential Job Functions:The incumbent must be able to perform all of the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation.Manage Domestic and Import vendor relationships and negotiation for PGBInteract professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all contacts with emphasis on company interestsIndependently prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes and through the work of subordinatesManage PGB Customer Replenishment and vendor forecasting processParticipate in and organize customer deduction and dispute resolution processMaintain PGB reporting and analyticsWork cross-functionally with Petco business units such as Global Sourcing and Quality Assurance to bring products to market in assigned global accountsAssist in the development and implementation of strategic business plans that will deliver maximum potential volume and profit.Provide input into long-range business plans.Plan and execute activities that directly support the implementation and optimization of efforts to grow sales/revenue/profit/market shareRequired Skills and Qualifications:Normally requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in business, merchandising or operations related field.Requires a minimum of

years related experience that involves merchandising, retail, sourcing or operations preferably with some international experience.Must have the proven ability to understand, correlate and communicate large amounts of data originating from many sources and utilize data to formulate summaries and recommendations.Must be able to effectively communicate with a diverse set of associates, at various organizational levels and functional areas, as well as with outside vendors, of which the latter may require appreciation for different operating styles owing to cultural differences.Must be skilled in multi-tasking and be able to manage responsibilities and shift center of focus from one task to another with minimal challenge.Requires advanced software application skills including MS Office Suite and the ability to learn and utilize new internal applications.Requires effective verbal and written communication skill, must be detail-oriented and be able to effectively prioritize both projects and tasks.Requires the ability to perform mathematical functions such as calculating costs, margins and turn.Requires proactive problem-solving skills and must be able to operate independently in a deadline-sensitive environment.Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a US Passport for international travel.
