Join our world-class team today!Position Specific DescriptionNextEra Energy’s Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion Team is seeking a passionate team member with strong communication, collaboration, analytics, and project management skills. The ideal candidate must possess a keen understanding of facilitating change in a large organization to advance engagement, diversity and inclusion across our businesses. Must demonstrate strong communication skills – verbal, written, presentation/ facilitation. Must be able to develop and execute strategy, including programs such as D&I Summit, employee engagement survey, etc. Must be able to facilitate employee resource groups and other ambassador groups. Must be able to analyze data to determine trends and use data to tell a story. Must be able to interact and engage with a broad audience at various levels – both internally and externally. Must demonstrate discretion in highly sensitive or confidential matters; sound judgment and decision making are critical. Must also possess strategic and conceptual thinking, consulting, and influencing skills. Knowledge of human capital, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion principles, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action laws and regulations is ideal but not required. This role has high visibility to senior and business unit leaders and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders.Job Overview
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Prepares complex reporting and statistical analysis from various source records including the HRIS system, electronic applicant tracking system and affirmative action planning software.Audits data to ensure report accuracy.Partners with recruiting and HR systems departments to ensure applicant tracking software and the HRIS system produces accurate, timely and complete reports to support preparation of AAPs and audit requirements.Analyzes and submits required federal employment reporting.Provides consultation to Human Resources, leaders and employees on diversity and inclusion programs, procedures, reporting and analysis.Identify and evaluates reports trends and recommends best practices.Prepares quarterly diversity reports and recommendations for senior leadership.Maintains current knowledge of AAP and EEO compliance regulations to ensure proper data collection and reporting.Serves as department resource and mentor to other staff members.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Required Qualifications
High School Grad / GED.Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience.Experience: 6+ years.Preferred Qualifications
