Join our world-class, innovative team today.Position Specific DescriptionBusiness Management is responsible for the overall performance of a portfolio of operating assets including the development and execution of plans to optimize financial performance of the assets. As the Senior Business Manager, you will own the P&L accountability for our South region portfolio – handling customer relationships, compliance with power purchase agreements, financing and regulatory requirements, and strategy including repowering.Key Responsibilities:Develop major workstreams across the region including asset repowering planCoordinate and manage projects throughout the lifecycle from design to executionPrepare data and scorecards that demonstrates value creation and plan progressMaintain close working relationships with partners, customers and stakeholdersNegotiate settlements on disputes concerning PPAs, land owners, and other stakeholders.Create and refine market and regulatory strategiesLead or participate in special projects across Business Management including process improvement opportunitiesCreate presentations for senior managementPerform other job-related duties as assignedJob Overview

Employees in this position support the overall P and L management of one or more NextEra generating assets or upstream/midstream assets that have achieved commercial operation. This role supports strategic decision-making with respect to such assets, including hedging, operations and maintenance. This role identifies opportunities and analyzes the impact on company financials to maximize P and L profitability.Job Duties & Responsibilities

Manages and improves the generating asset or upstream/midstream assets Profit and Loss including optimization of asset interaction with energy marketsCompletes budgets and monthly forecasting, financial analyses, ad hoc reports, and modelingEnsures compliance with power purchase agreements, land leases, financings and regulatory requirementsWorks with teams throughout the company in a coordinator capacityMaintains close working relationships with customers and stakeholdersMonitors project operationsConducts analysis on issues impacting operations and proactively identifies opportunities for improvementLeads value-added projects such as supporting regional leadership in the development of strategic plans, mergers and acquisitions, project development, asset optimization, restructurings, and building relationships with off-takers, landowners, and state and local regulatorsTrains and mentors Business Management AnalystsPerforms other job-related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications
