Description
The Department of Medicine is hiring a motivated Fellowship Program Coordinator to provide comprehensive programmatic support at the Ahmanson UCLA Adult Congenital Heart Disease Center. The coordinator will collaborate with faculty on the operational management of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Center program. Key responsibilities include promoting, evaluating, and administering educational programs in line with institutional goals and compliance standards. The role involves supporting learners, program coordinators, directors, and GME leadership with teaching activities, scheduling, assessments, and evaluations, while managing all administrative aspects of the program. Additional clinical administrative duties may also be added to this role.Hourly range: $32.76-$49.65Qualifications
Required:Bachelor's Degree in related and/or equivalent experience/training1+ years experience coordinating an educational program(s) in an academic medical center or other relevant experienceProficient with Microsoft Office programs and web based applicationsPresents and expresses ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience, whether oral or written.Demonstrated commitment to knowledge development/professional developmentHigh degree of initiative and independent judgementExcellent organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated attention to detail. Ability to complete work and meet established deadlines in an accurate and timely manner, and to prioritize short and competing deadlinesDemonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to interact collegially with faculty, staff, learners and outside contacts to carry out the mission of the educational program(s) or initiative(s)Manages confidential information discreetly and responsibly
Preferred:Demonstrated working knowledge of ACGME accreditation process and institutional requirementsDemonstrated working knowledge of graduate medical education programsComprehensive understanding of UCLA policy and procedures
