JOB SUMMARY:Sycamores provides a spectrum of equitable mental health services through various programs to multicultural populations of all acuities. Although it serves a variety of consumers, the agency focuses primarily on providing care to low-income, high at-risk youth.
Under the direction of the CFO, the Vice President - Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis (FPR&A) is responsible for the planning, reporting and analysis of financial and operational performance for the Agency. Responsibilities include budgets and forecasts, monthly reporting and variance analysis, planning and reporting for new programs and initiatives, and general financial management support of programs, sites, and cost centers. The Vice President is responsible for recruiting and supervision of FPR&A team members.
Starting Pay Range:$162,000 - $172,000 per year for Full-Time employment (starting pay will be based on previous work experience and educational background.)
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, preferably in a finance-related area of concentration;5-plus years of increasing responsibility in financial management positions, with a proven track record in reliable and timely planning, reporting and analysis.Prior leadership of teams of 5 or more.Prior experience as a senior financial manager at a behavioral health organization of $25 million or more or comparable experience.Proficiency in advanced reporting and analysis tools, such as Excel and/or business intelligence systems.Proven track record in developing reports and analyses and the underlying controls to ensure reliability.JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:Knowledge of financial management “best practices” and trends in behavioral health or healthcare more broadly.Complex financial modeling and analysis, such as Excel “pivot tables.”Personnel management.Strong verbal and written communications skills.Effective collaborator (agency executives, managers, and staff).Sound judgment (e.g., escalation, conflict resolution).Effectively manages time; effectively prioritizes assignments and resources.Accountable/reliable (follows through; completes assignments on time).Flexible (able to adapt to changes in priorities, budget constraints, organization changes).All candidates who are presented with a conditional offer of employment must satisfy a pre-employment background check, drug, and health screen.
