Location: Baltimore/Washington D.C. Intralox LLC is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) professional to support all elements and functional areas of the Intralox EHS Management System for the Intralox Baltimore Sites. The EHS Professional will report directly to the NA Equipment EHS Manager and will be based out of Intralox’s Sparrows Point office. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive EHS leadership for (3) Baltimore Sites as part of the North American Equipment division of Intralox. Provide daily, direct EHS support for the Sparrows Point manufacturing site. Develop and maintain robust and sustainable EHS programs, processes, and procedures to ensure applicable regulatory compliance. Develop, conduct, and coordinate safety and environmental training for both managers and employees to promote self-management of safe work practices. Support regular, proactive audits, inspections, and near miss reporting on the worksites to identify potential hazards and risks. Develop, implement, and document effective, layered barriers for identified hazards, risks, and consequences. Facilitate formal root cause analyses for serious near misses, incidents, and other identified non-conformances. Develop, analyze, and report key performance indicators to promote understanding of what EHS data is important and why. Requirements: Strong leadership ability related to work prioritization, direct execution, and delegation where appropriate. Experience in a formal environmental and/or safety management system. Ten or more years of relevant experience. Motivated, self-managed professional with the ability to anticipate and react to the needs of multiple managers and organizational needs without direct supervision. Ability to present and communicate at all levels of an organization. Experience in manufacturing, laboratory, or construction operations. Bachelor’s degree in industrial/occupational safety, engineering, or related field, or relevant work experience may be substituted in place of a degree. Board of Certified Safety Professionals Certification preferred. Intralox’s benefit program is a major part of an employee’s total compensation from the company.
