Job Title: Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney
Job Overview:An established law firm in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a skilled Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney with a minimum of five years of experience to join its Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group. This role involves managing various stages of complex commercial litigation with a focus on insurance coverage disputes in the commercial sector.Duties:
Conduct comprehensive legal research and case analysis.Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other essential legal documents.Represent clients at court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.Oversee and prioritize a diverse caseload, working closely with senior attorneys.Collaborate in strategic discussions and case planning, aligning with overall client goals.Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and other key parties.Requirements:
Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the Missouri State Bar.5+ years of experience, preferably in commercial insurance coverage litigation.Proficiency in managing litigation from initial investigation to resolution.Education:
Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited institution.Certifications:
Missouri State Bar admission is required.Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and proactively.Sound judgment and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Skilled in client interaction and relationship management.Commitment to maintaining involvement in the local community.Job Location:
