This role involves negotiating complex standalone commercial transactions that advance technologies through clinical trials and toward FDA regulatory approval. Superior academic credentials and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills are required.Duties:Advising biotech and pharmaceutical clients on intellectual property licensing and collaboration agreements.Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements related to technology licensing, joint ventures, research and development collaborations, and commercial partnerships.Conducting due diligence reviews related to IP assets and technology transfers.Providing legal advice on regulatory compliance issues related to FDA approvals and other regulatory matters.Collaborating with clients, including founders and technology developers, to strategize and execute on technology commercialization efforts.Managing client relationships and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.3-6 years of experience in licensing, collaboration, and commercial partnering transactions within a law firm environment, with a focus on life sciences.Experience representing biotech and pharmaceutical clients in IP transactions and technology commercialization.Bar admission in the state of the office location or eligibility to sit for the next Bar exam.Strong understanding of intellectual property law and FDA regulatory processes.Certifications:Certification in intellectual property law (if applicable).Skills:Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong project management and organizational skills.Proficiency in legal research tools and technology.Benefits Offered:
