Outreach Director – Women’s Care Center, Anoka

Women's Care Center is the nation's largest pregnancy resource center. Founded by a Catholic theologian in 1984, this organization now serves 37,000 women annually from 36 centers in 12 states. Our mission is to help pregnant women choose life for their babies, have healthier pregnancies, become better parents, and take first steps to self-sufficiency.

To help advance our mission, we are seeking an Outreach Director to garner support in the local community for our Anoka, MN center.

Primary Responsibilities:

Research and build a broad base of support.

In this role, you will cultivate, solicit, and steward new relationships to begin to build a list of donors to support our local center.

Build, Inspire, and Lead a committee of ‘connectors.’

In this role, you will identify, nurture, and lead a group of individuals who are able to support this organization themselves, but also who are willing to invite others to be a part of it too. One person can open the door to so many others.

Execute and build the Luxury Bingo Event.

Working with our National Director of Events, you will plan all the details for the Luxury Bingo event. You will also invite and solicit people to be a part of this mission through an event sponsorship.

Nurture current donors.

And help them to fall even more in love with the work of Women’s Care Center.

Other Responsibilities:

- Execute appeal letters, mailings, thank you notes, tax receipts and event details all with excellent attention to detail.

- Interview clients for stories to share in donor materials.

- Coordinate and manage volunteers.

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Experience: Experience in sales, and/or marketing preferred, but we are looking for someone passionate and personable. Training is provided.

- Ability to establish and maintain positive professional relationships with diverse constituents.

- Proactivity and a self-starter.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to prioritize and organize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and problem-solve.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Ability to thrive and work effectively, independently and as part of a team.
