The Vertical Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing targeted marketing strategies for specific industry verticals such as government, education, healthcare, quick serve restaurants, banking, and manufacturing. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create customized campaigns, sales enablement materials, and content that align with each vertical's unique business goals and customer needs. The Vertical Marketing Manager will also oversee market research, competitive analysis, and event management, ensuring strong brand positioning and lead generation. Additionally, they will manage budgets, track campaign performance, and adjust strategies to optimize ROI within each vertical. What You'll Do Vertical-Specific Campaign Strategy: Develop and execute tailored marketing strategies for each vertical, defining objectives, key messages, and performance metrics in collaboration with sales, product, and operations teams. Sales Enablement & Support: Create and deliver sales materials, provide training, and share insights on vertical-specific trends to ensure sales teams effectively engage enterprise customers. Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis to keep marketing strategies competitive and relevant, adapting messaging as industry trends and regulations evolve. Event Management & Thought Leadership: Plan and manage vertical-specific events, webinars, and conferences, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure lead generation and strong industry positioning. Message Integration & Content Development: Ensure cohesive messaging across all channels, aligning marketing efforts with product launches, industry trends, and vertical-specific priorities. Budget Management & ROI Tracking: Manage the marketing budget for each vertical, track performance metrics, and adjust strategies to improve efficiency and ROI. Who You Are Minimum Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field. Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SalesForce, and Marketing Cloud or other equivalent email marketing platform. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and project management abilities, and proficiency in marketing automation and CRM tools as well as the ability to work effectively with teams throughout organization.
