Vertiv is hiring a

BRM Sr. Portfolio Manager (OCM & Deployments)

in Westerville, Ohio. This role is critical for building and cultivating relationships with all levels of the business, leading to a trusted IT advisor. The position contributes to the IT vision and strategy by supporting the current IT Portfolio around planning & execution of OCM (organization change management) activities and project deployments, focusing on business adoption and success criteria for each project/deployment within the team. The role also supports the OCM for the IT BRM (Business Relationship Management) team, collaborating with each BRM portfolio manager and director in process, people, and technology areas.

Responsibilities:

Proven experience in industry-standard business analysis techniques and methods to elicit and validate business requirements supporting OCM activities – Audience Analysis techniques.

Expertise in creating and delivering presentations at executive and management levels to report on key multiyear programs and projects.

Expertise in communications using various tools to support townhall messaging, newsletters, and broadcast messaging.

Working knowledge of SharePoint and MS Teams to support collaboration practices within the BRM team.

Ability to adapt to Vertiv branding and messaging by partnering with different teams to ensure compliance with Vertiv standards.

Experience in modeling business processes and defining business data models.

Effective planning and facilitation skills, including the ability to negotiate differences of opinion between stakeholders.

Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, and business process models.

Interface with vendor partners to ensure smooth user readiness and adoption for each project.

Drive project management around software deployments with a focus on user readiness and validation of success criteria.

People management related to employees, contract positions, and staff augmentation for key software programs.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology Management or related discipline or equivalent experience.

8-10 years of industry experience in Information Technology focusing on OCM/Deployment Practice.

Experience in a global corporation preferred.

Minimum of 5 years in business analysis roles with 2-3 years in a managerial position.

Ability to support travel to meet with customers and IT teams globally.

Experience using enterprise requirements elicitation and management tools.

Knowledge of all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Effective facilitation and business case development skills.

Ability to lead and negotiate business solutions balancing technical capability, cost, and time.

Strong leadership skills and ability to generate enthusiasm among team members.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Detail-oriented with accountability to objectives.

Fluency in English and ability to interface with global teams.

Ability to write and interpret reports and business correspondence.

Ability to present information effectively to groups.

Ability to apply critical thinking to identify issues and opportunities.
