Provide Technical Support for Corporate Datacenter Hardware and Software Systems.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform installation of server operating systems, software, and hardware.Plan and apply appropriate software patches and upgrades.Document system operations and recovery procedures.Respond to, resolve, and follow up on reported issues through the trouble ticketing system.Manage and apply necessary system security access.Analyze performance indicators to ensure that systems are operating efficiently.Make changes to system software and hardware so that performance meets company objectives.Work closely with IT Operations and Applications in disaster recovery of all systems hardware and software.Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.Fulfill administrative and technical reporting and documentation requirements.Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.Perform other duties as required.REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or combination of related technical training and applicable experience.Six (6) plus years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting all versions of Windows environments.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Valid California Driver’s License with good driving record.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure/Microsoft 365.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and associated products.Extensive experience with Active Directory and Group Policy design.Extensive knowledge of VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V installation and support.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN/SAN Networking.Extensive experience with DNS, DHCP.Security principles and implementing security policies for AD and Exchange.Extensive experience with SAN technologies, including NVMeoF, SCSI, Fiber Channel, HBAs, storage zoning, volume management, replication, and storage consolidation experience with Microsoft applications.Experience with VPN, Anti-Virus, and Disaster Recovery & Business Resumption programs.Experience with VMware Workspace ONE and Horizon is a plus.Microsoft and VMware Certifications are helpful.Join our team and make a difference.
