Our client is looking for a Systems Architect to assist with the design and development of current internal business systems, working with the Lead. Possesses experience in software design and development with a focus on the integration of internal business systems across multiple functional areas, notably finance/accounting, financial transaction processing, supply chain transaction processing, etc. This position will also work with general supervision and priorities will be coordinated & approved by the Lead. The Systems Architect will be required to transition Counties from their current software packages to the system.Tasks:
Provide, or be able to perform, the following to support the existing system:Software, phone, and electronic supportNew software installations with one-on-one trainingData conversion from source legacy to target systemsParticipation in meetings to support systemsProvide system & process training to small and large groupsSoftware and system enhancements to the existing Oracle version 19c databaseImport/export integration programs to transfer dataRelease management for periodic software releasesKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsAbility to independently perform a variety of complicated tasksWide degree of creativity and latitudeAbility to work independentlySkills Required:
5+ years - Systems Architects capabilities / experience5+ years - SQL/PL SQL experience5+ years - Object-oriented programming languages using Virtual Component Library (VCL)5+ years - Windows Server 2015+5+ years - MS Windows 11 Enterprise experience5+ years - Extensive knowledge of a Windows-based application target platform and software development tools5+ years - Oracle RDBMS experience5+ years - PL/SQL Developer experience5+ years - Oracle DB Admin Tools, Enterprise Manager experienceExperience in design and integration of business applications and enterprise IT infrastructure. Designs IT infrastructure components and architectureExperience with design and development of custom modules/solutions and the integration of these components with packaged solutionsProven methodology experience for complex systems integration projects and demonstrated ability to achieve deliverables on time and on budgetExtensive background in software analysis, design, development, testing and implementationBroad range of networking infrastructure experienceDelphi programming experience using RAD Studio 2007+Basic Accounting experience (because the architect is in charge of an accounting program package that various counties use)Familiarity with WisDOT, DTSD, Bureau of Highway Operations (BHO) project and activity accounting and business practices
