Our client is looking for a Data & Systems Analyst to assist with analysis, documentation, and recommendations for retrofits of enterprise data systems relating to the implementation of Workday. This person will work with members of client staff to evaluate the impacts of upstream data and systems changes on central data warehouses, enterprise Tableau reporting, internal analysis tools, and ancillary systems. This position will independently lead analysis, documentation, and creation of recommendations on how these system impacts may need to be retrofit to accommodate the upstream data structures.Tasks:
Collaborate with internal client resources as well as partner projects.Analyze existing data warehouses (Oracle, Snowflake) for impacts due to Workday changes.Analyze existing ancillary systems for impacts due to Workday changes.Catalog existing internal analysis tools and analyze for Workday impacts.Document system requirements and user stories.Analyze requirements against existing system configuration and Workday impacts to identify gaps and provide retrofit recommendations.Write test plans and coordinate testing with stakeholders.Update related documentation to capture retrofit changes.Participate in Workday pre-implementation preparation activities.Provide Workday post-implementation support and analysis.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Strong analytical and technical skillsAbility to develop and maintain trusted client relationships with key stakeholdersSkills Required:
8+ years - Professional experience as a technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Consultant8+ years - Experience gathering requirements, performing gap/fit analysis, and writing user stories3+ years - Experience working with data and reporting users to interpret needs, making system recommendations, and providing user support either through a project or managing a production backlogExperience performing analysis in analytics and data management environmentsExperience writing complex SQL or Python for data and system analysis and test scripts, and guiding users through testingExperience using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)Experience with data migration or transformations, including source system data mapping, translations, and cleansingExperience performing system, quality, and/or smoke testing
