We will give you a chance to work with some of the most talented people in the graphics industry.We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as an IT Systems Administrator. In this role, you will help meet the technical needs of our staff. We’re looking for someone skilled in helpdesk support, security monitoring, hardware deployment, patch management, and software administration. Your main duties include handling helpdesk tickets, performing daily security checks, deploying laptops and hardware, managing software patches, assisting with OS upgrades, and overseeing software license servers.The primary workplace for this position is Aechelon Technology’s South San Francisco Headquarters.United States citizenship required due to restrictions on access to certain data.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Helpdesk Support: Create, triage, and resolve Jira helpdesk tickets, ensuring efficient and effective resolution of IT-related issues within defined SLAs.Laptop Deployments: Prepare, configure, and deploy Windows Dell laptops and other hardware to new and existing employees.Patch Management: Work with Sr. IT Systems Administrator to effectively manage and apply software patches to ensure all systems are up to date and secure.Microsoft Desktop Upgrades: Assist the team with the coordination and deployment of Microsoft desktop upgrades with Windows Software Update Services.Manage and Installation of License Servers: Install and configure software licenses servers such as FlexLM, maintain existing license servers, coordinate deployment of new licenses, create reports for compliance audits and renewals.Workstation Deployment Coverage: Assist with the deployment of rack and tower workstations as needed.BACKUP/COVERAGE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coverage for Backup and Disaster Recovery Tasks: Perform backup management and disaster recovery operations in the absence of the primary team member.System Imaging and Deployment Coverage: Take over system imaging with Microsoft Development Toolkit (MDT) and deployment tasks as needed.Application Package Creation and Deployment Coverage: Create and deploy software packages with PDQ Deploy as needed.EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

Reliable communications in case of urgent infrastructure needs.Ability to keep tickets updated in a detailed and timely manner.Ability to learn new technologies and applications.Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation and update existing IT documentation as needed.Experience working in an MS Windows based office environment.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Attention to detail and highly motivated.Good planning and organization skills.Ability to work within deadlines and SLAs.Can successfully work independently with minimal guidance.Able to determine priorities and appropriate level of escalation.Able to accurately relay information between IT staff and other points of contact.DESIRED COMPETENCIES:

Experience in a help desk escalation role supporting over 150 end-users.Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; ability to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.Experience with version control systems such as Perforce, Git, etc.Experience with issue tracking systems such as JIRA, etc.Relevant certifications such as, but not limited to, CompTIA’s A+ and Server+ certifications.Knowledge of a scripting language, PowerShell or Python preferred.REQUIRED EDUCATION, ELIGIBILITY AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or 4 years of relevant experience.At least 3 years of experience in a Tier 2 or advanced user support role.Experience managing Active Directory including user and group management, group policy configuration, and management of file share permissions.Experience provisioning of Windows based systems with Microsoft Desktop Toolkit (MDT) or SCCM.Experience deploying software and updates using automated tools such as Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), PDQ Deploy or equivalent.Experience managing software license servers such as FlexLM for the management of floating or network-shared licenses.Ability to lift 30 Lbs.SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:

$100,000 - $110,000 a year

The above range is specific to CALIFORNIA and may not be applicable to other locations. The pay scale for this role is between $100,000 - $110,000.
