We:
build and operate a suite of platforms and applications that prevent, detect, and mitigate regulatory and reputational risk across the firm.
have access to the latest technology and to massive amounts of structured and unstructured data.
leverage modern frameworks to build responsive and intuitive front end and Big Data applications.
The firm is making a significant investment to uplift and rebuild the Compliance application portfolio in 2023.
To achieve this, Compliance Engineering is looking to fill
BI developer roles
across different teams.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
As a member of our team, you will:
Be responsible for developing the overall reporting suite for the Compliance division.
Build highly scalable and stable metric-based reporting solutions with drill down capability across multiple dimensions.
Build quality engineering solutions which align with the technology blueprint and best practices.
Actively troubleshoot various issues pertaining to report delivery and data logic.
Actively promote good design practices and standards.
Stay on top of the latest BI technologies like Tableau, Power BI, and Snowflake.
Participate in knowledge exchange through innovation days, code, and design reviews, exploring emerging technologies, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
A successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field of study.
4+ years of experience in software development.
2+ years of experience in business intelligence and/or reporting.
Ability (and tenacity) to clearly express ideas and arguments in meetings and on paper.
Experience working with global teams as well as partnering with multiple client and engineering stakeholders.
Experience in some of the following is desired and can set you apart from other candidates:
Experience in Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
Exposure to cloud technologies like Snowflake, Tableau, or Power BI.
Proficiency in JAVA and any database.
Knowledge of capital markets domain.
