Chief Operating Officer (COO)
to join our executive team. This unique equity-based position provides an entrepreneurial leader with the opportunity to shape the company’s day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless collaboration between employees, interns, and executive team members.
As COO, you will hold a
2.5% equity ownership stake
in G-ED UP ENTERTAINMENT, earning dividends and distributions based on company growth and profitability. This role is ideal for an operations leader who is excited about building an innovative company from the ground up and contributing directly to its success.
Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership : Develop and oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring effective alignment and communication among all team members, including employees, interns, officers, and contractors.
Process Optimization : Implement and refine systems and processes that enhance productivity, accountability, and efficiency across departments.
Strategic Collaboration : Work closely with the CEO, CFO, and other key stakeholders to set and achieve company goals, aligning operations with overall business strategy.
Team Development : Drive initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talent, fostering a supportive and high-performance culture.
Resource Allocation : Ensure optimal use of resources to maximize productivity and meet growth targets.
Risk Management : Identify potential operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure sustainability and long-term success.
Requirements:
Proven experience in an operational or senior management role, ideally as a COO or in a similar capacity within a startup or high-growth company.
Strong understanding of organizational processes, team management, and operational efficiency.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and scaling businesses in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Must be local to Los Angeles, CA
for in-person engagement with the team and on-site management.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and inspire team members at all levels.
Must be willing to submit to background check.
