G-ED UP ENTERTAINMENT, LLC is seeking a visionary
Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)
to lead and develop the company's human resources strategy. This is a unique equity-based opportunity for an entrepreneurial HR leader to play a key role in shaping the culture and workforce of a fast-growing multimedia and entertainment company.
As CHRO, you will hold a
2.5% equity ownership stake , earning dividends and distributions based on company profitability and growth. This role is ideal for a passionate and strategic HR professional who is ready to build systems from the ground up, foster a thriving company culture, and support a team dedicated to creating impactful media content.
Responsibilities:
HR Strategy Development : Design and implement comprehensive HR strategies to support business growth, including recruitment, talent management, employee engagement, and performance evaluation systems.
Policy and Compliance : Establish and maintain HR policies and procedures in alignment with local, state, and federal regulations.
Team Building : Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes to attract top talent, including employees, interns, and officers, while fostering an inclusive and collaborative workplace.
Employee Relations : Develop initiatives to enhance communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen team morale.
Training and Development : Create professional development programs to enhance team skills and align employee growth with company goals.
Leadership Collaboration : Work closely with the CEO, COO, and other executives to align HR practices with organizational objectives.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally as a CHRO, HR Director, or similar position within a growing company.
Strong understanding of employment law, HR compliance, and best practices for recruitment and talent development.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build systems, policies, and procedures from scratch.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Must be local to Los Angeles, CA
for in-person collaboration and team engagement.
Must be willing to submit to a background check.
Experience in media, entertainment, or creative industries is a plus.
