Primary Role:Manage full suite of Employee BenefitsPrimary Benefit liaison for Clients; Work Site Employees; Brokers & Insurance VendorsRoles & ResponsibilitiesProvide guidance with the help of colleagues and / or resolve service problems to both employees and clients pertaining to:Claim IssuesEligibility problemsBilling discrepanciesBenefit problemsManage communications materials for client worksites and co-employees regarding benefits in addition to any changes in benefitsAttend appropriate industry functions and participate in relevant industry training.Develop an extensive knowledge of insurance coverage, markets and changes.Conduct presentations and meet with employees to discuss the array of benefit choices availableParticipate in vendor meetingsProcess life event and status changesManage the renewal process

Communicate renewal materials to client and brokerPrepare materials for employees based on client specificationsReview system update of changesPresentation of changes in person or via Ring CentralBenefit Enrollment portal assistanceAuditing and confirming for clients the employees who have enrolled and their elections

Work alongside HRBP’s, and payroll specialists to support the clientManage Client expectationsOversee the administration of non-Prestige plansRequired Skills:Excellent written, oral, presentation skillsGrowing understanding of employee group benefits including COBRAStrong analytical abilities; ethics and discretionComfortable presenting to diverse groups of peopleAbility to work independently or as part of a teamStrong computer skills and the ability to adapt to new systems.The ability to work in a high-pressure environmentRequired Experience:Minimum of four years of experience in group employee benefits.Understanding of employee benefit plans and insurance terminologyBachelor’s degree or high school diploma with equivalent work experienceNY Health and Life License a plus but not required.Salary range up to $80K based on experience
