OccasionalGENERAL SUMMARYUnder the guidance of the Director, Information Technology, the Enterprise Applications Specialist is responsible for the technical integrations of applications and systems including the ticketing system (ACME), project management software (Wrike), and the reservation and booking system (Momentus). As the subject matter expert in applications, the Specialist is responsible for technical roadmaps, system maintenance, and implementation to optimize operations, minimize costs, and enhance the overall customer experience and usability for internal and external customers.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Manage and maintain daily operations of the ticketing system, project management platform, and event booking system. Provide expert-level troubleshooting, identify opportunities for system enhancements, and develop best practices for performance optimization.Conduct regular system audits and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement within assigned systems. Analyze reports for operational insights and provide expert-level user support for internal teams.Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and relevant documentation for assigned system integrations and database configurations.Manage users, configuration, and deployment for admission ticketing system, including patching POS devices and assisting with the maintenance of their functionality.Oversee the configuration and optimization of the event booking system. Manage licensing distribution and user accounts to ensure policy compliance.Administer and configure the project management platform, supporting creation and customization of request forms, manage user permissions, and spearhead group deployments and legacy solution migrations to the system.Ensure seamless integration of assigned platforms across other museum systems (CRM, financial, etc.).Partner with IT Staff, vendors, and cross-functional teams to develop and implement technical roadmaps for system integrations, upgrades, and automations. Collaborate to assess needs and structure service timelines.Regularly review system performance and security to propose enhancements that align with organizational goals. Implement identified security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance.Support product rollout through accurate planning, coordination, and communications with staff.Collaborate with IT staff and other departments to identify and resolve technical issues, as needed.Provide training and technical support to staff on new systems and their integrations.Apply organizational values to interactions to foster a culture of belonging among internal and external stakeholders.Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or related field required. Six (6) years of experience managing enterprise applications and databases. Additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESWorking knowledge of best practices for project management principles and tools to oversee system implementations.Strong organizational skills to plan, manage, prioritize, and complete multiple ongoing database projects to meet deadlines and goals.Experience with developing and tracking budgets for projects, ensuring adherence to approved budgets.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and professionally.Ability to deescalate and resolve challenging situations calmly and professionally.Ability to identify challenges, engage others in their resolution, and recommend appropriate courses of action.Ability to provide information, ideas, and instructions clearly and effectively.Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate results.Understanding of ethical business conduct and professional practices, including maintenance and protection of confidential information.Ability to work occasional weekend and evening hours for special events as needed.Proficiency in the latest version of Office 365.Proficiency in the use of remote work technology such as digital collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams.Must be able to establish and maintain professional, productive, and courteous interactions that promote positive teamwork.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
