Head of InfrastructureMAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:SKF is seeking a Senior SME for IT/OT for a complete suite of Architecture and operations. The Senior SME of IT/OT Architecture and Operations works across SKF to build digital products, platforms, and solutions that drive the greatest value and align with our business priorities. This involves overseeing day-to-day operations, providing user support, maintaining a robust IT Network Infrastructure posture, and guiding the strategic direction of technology architecture. This role will have responsibility for all aspects of Technology support of Enterprise Network Security, Industrial OT Network Security, Cloud Network Security, Software-defined WAN, LAN, Wireless, and Zero Trust Network Security Architecture.Working with Functional Leadership, establish, prioritize, and maintain the overall Enterprise and Industrial Architecture strategies and approaches for SKF, engaging the necessary functions in alignment, co-creation, and ongoing partnership.Lead an organization responsible for working horizontally across Digital practices to build and maintain the execution of the enterprise blueprints, emerging tech radar and trends, architecture principles, standards, and tools.Enable their organization to develop and promote modern architectural approaches that encourage value exchange with partners and customers, digitization of processes, business connectivity, and partner collaboration.Collaborate and work closely with other departments / Cross-functional Teams / Departments / Business entities and onsite stakeholders, particularly for any business demands and requirements for solution consultation, to ensure that OT/IT architecture supports seamless integration between systems and applications.Oversee and guide architecture practices and delivery in cross-functional strategies and efforts including assessing technology vendors and products to determine their alignment with the organization's architecture and requirements.As an enterprise Network security SME in the security domain crafted to ensure availability, reliability, security, scalability, performance, and resilient architectures to address SKF’s business challenges and accelerate technology adoption to improve the products/services.Deep expertise, understanding, and knowledge of Infrastructure Networks and Security – SD-WAN, SD-Access, SD-Network, Routing and Switching, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Cloud Networking, and Cyber Security.Candidates are expected to have demonstrable, large-scale Hybrid/HCI Datacenter Network Architecture experience, combined with good consulting skills and an understanding of how network technologies impact on...and are impacted by other IT infrastructure technologies.Should have worked on Cisco Nexus, ACI, VXLAN, ISE with a combination of hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), Hybrid DC/ Hybrid Cloud.Experience with firewalls Like Cisco Firepower, AMP, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, FortiGate, Netscreen, Barracuda, and Cloud Appliances like Zscaler, and Prisma.Experience in SASE, CASB, and ZTNA design and architecture knowledge on various product lines like Palo Alto Prisma, Fortinet, Zscaler, and Cisco DNC and Cisco ISE.Lead and mentor other team members, collaborate and contribute to our enterprise Zero Trust strategy.Accountable for our Identity Governance strategy, roadmap, and operations and integration with our Zero Trust Roadmaps.Secure remote access to assets within IT and OT system perimeters, corporate data, apps, and IoT devices by workers at remote sites and Secure access to cloud apps, and data by internal workers / Vendors / Suppliers / Daily wagers.Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats & respond immediately to security-related incidents and provide thorough remedial solutions and analysis.Design Network security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge & plan, research, and design robust security architectures for any OT/IIoT project.Perform or supervise vulnerability testing, risk analyses, and security assessments including OT/IIoT solutions and infrastructure for new & legacy machines & equipment, HCM, ERP, SCADA & PLC/sensor technologies.Should have Cloud Network Security knowledge on AWS/Azure cloud security architecture, Landing zone design, Security posture management, operations, and service orchestration, including application security, architectural concepts, compliance requirements, data security, design requirements, infrastructure security, legal requirements, processes, and platform security with a baseline of Zero Trust Security and CCSK recommendations.IT Operations:
Responsible for designing, implementing, and when required maintaining the organization's technology infrastructure to support current and future growth. This includes Zero Trust Network Architecture, data centers Network, and cloud Network and OT Network Security services.Ensure the reliability and availability of IT systems and services. This involves monitoring system uptime, addressing outages promptly, and implementing redundancy and failover mechanisms to minimize downtime.Develop and enforce processes for managing changes to the IT environment. This includes assessing the impact of changes, coordinating testing and approvals, and minimizing risks associated with changes.Establish incident response procedures to handle and mitigate disruptions to IT services caused by security breaches, system failures, or other incidents. Collaborating with other teams to manage incidents and minimize impact.Understanding of SKF’s technology and information systems and design & implement cloud & IT/OT Network security solutions and policies and procedures by all applicable regulatory standards such as NIST, SOC2, ISA/IEC 62443, GDPR, ISO27001, ITAR, etc.Align organizational security strategy and infrastructure with overall business and technology strategy.SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:15+ years of relevant experience in Architecture, IT security, Network Security, Cloud Security, Zero Trust Network Architecture, IT operations experience leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the company’s culturally complex organization will be required.Strong technical background (IT / OT Network, Cloud Network Security, IT system Security, Cyber Security, IT systems Security posture Design)Cloud certifications/trainings are preferred (e.g. MS AZ-500, AZ-30x, Prisma, ZTNA, Zscaler, SANS SEC545)Network certifications/pieces of training are preferred (e.g. CCNP/ CCIE, PCNSE)Cyber Security certifications/training are preferred (e.g. CISM.
