Reconcile banking transactions

Manage PO releases and voucher requests for wire transfers

Respond to audit requests

Provide necessary information for month end close

Position Description:

Performs research, analysis and evaluation activities related to the acquisition and management of capital resources, including regulatory compliance, debt and lease financings, investments and compliance for multiple entities. Performs risk control and credit and risk management functions for wholesale marketing, trading and hedging activities at TEP, UNS Gas and UNS Electric. This position may provide services to affiliates of the Company subject to the UNS Energy Code of Conduct and the related Policies and Procedures.

Position-Related Responsibilities:

Performs risk control functions including updating forward curves, developing forward curve methodologies on non-standard transactions, and independent trade confirmation. Ensures that the proper value is captured in the risk system. Performs stress-testing and sensitivity analysis of portfolios. Provides month-end reports to financial accounting used to prepare journal entries for trading and hedging activities. Recommends enhancements to trade capture systems (WebTrader, GasTrader) and assesses credit monitoring systems.

Prepares credit analyses of corporations, municipalities and financial institutions that engage in wholesale energy and/or gas transactions with TEP, UNSE and UNSG. Recommends credit ratings and appropriate credit limits. Prepares and monitors weekly and monthly credit exposure reports. Monitors the credit risk of the Company's short-term investments.

Monitors collateral and credit enhancement requirements compared to established limits, including collateral we are posting with counterparties, as well as collateral or credit enhancement we may require from counterparties. Manages transactions in collateral margin accounts. Works with banks on issuance and amendments of letters of credit.

Coordinates with counterparties and Legal Department on negotiation of contracts (including ISDAs and NAESBs), collateral agreements, guarantees, letters of credit, etc.

Ensures that the department's Sarbanes Oxley controls are met and that audits run smoothly.
