Xavier University’s Office of Admission invites applications for the role of Director, APEX Recruitment. The primary responsibility of this position is to share the value of a Xavier education with adult and non-traditional students.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop and lead institutional strategies for APEX (Adult and Professional Education at Xavier) enrollment
Develop and implement recruitment strategies for adult undergraduate students
Oversee enrollment funnel and admission decision processing for undergraduate adult students
Manage APEX recruitment staff
Perform other duties as assigned
This position reports to the Dean of Admission and is a member of the Undergraduate Admission staff that includes adult, transfer, international, and traditional undergraduate recruitment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 5 years of experience in higher education recruitment, admissions, or enrollment management, particularly with adult or non-traditional students.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies.
Strong data analysis skills and experience using data to inform decision-making
Experience managing staff and collaborating with various departments and external stakeholders
Familiarity with financial aid processes, specifically as they relate to adult learners.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree
Knowledge of current market trends and challenges facing adult learners in higher education
Experience using Slate (CRM) or similar admissions management systems
Proven track record of building community partnerships and pipelines for student recruitment.
