As a Bio-Rad Senior Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring payroll and payroll-related transactions are processed for approximately 1,100 US employees according to payroll laws and regulations. You will assist employees with payroll-related issues and provide resolution.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Execute various activities to support approximately 1,100 employees to ensure payroll is calculated/processed accurately and timely each pay period.
Process bi-weekly, multi-state payroll for approximately 1,100 employees and maintain payroll database and payroll-related records.
Process new hires, terminations, LOAs, Masterfile changes, stock transactions, relocations, garnishments, and employment verifications.
Prepare manual checks, as needed.
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Respond to payroll inquiries in a timely manner.
Run ad hoc reports using ADP Global View.
Perform special projects, as assigned by the Payroll Manager.
What You Bring:
Education: You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting preferred. CPP highly desirable.
Work Experience: 5+ years of payroll experience.
ADP Global View experience preferred.
eTime Time & Labor system experience a plus.
Experience with SAP and preparation of payroll-related journal entries, assisting in month-end/quarter-end accounting close, and performing monthly account analysis is a plus.
Strong knowledge of Federal and State payroll regulations including tax withholding, garnishments, overtime pay, shift differentials, and lead pay.
Strong knowledge of Union payroll.
Knowledge of Canadian payroll desirable.
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
You have a detail orientation.

Compensation:
The estimated base salary range for this position is $69,900 to $96,200 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
