Position Description:

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Lead Developer responsible for designing and deploying advanced cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP, focusing on data storage, processing, and analytics. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud infrastructure and automate deployment pipelines to ensure smooth operations across diverse environments. The developer will implement scalable architectures using relational (SQL Server or MySQL) and NoSQL databases, while also writing server-side code in C# or Python for robust APIs and microservices. Additionally, the position requires leading the development of user-friendly web applications and dashboards, integrating cloud-based visualization tools to deliver real-time analytics. Staying abreast of the latest cloud technologies and best practices is essential for driving innovation and maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deploy advanced cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP for data storage, processing, and analytics.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and optimize cloud infrastructure that meets business needs and enhances system performance.Automate deployment pipelines to ensure the smooth operation of full-stack solutions across various cloud environments.Perform comprehensive database administration, including backups, security management, and performance monitoring, to ensure data integrity and availability.Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies, frameworks, and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.

Back-End Development

Design and implement scalable cloud architectures that utilize relational databases (SQL Server or MySQL) and NoSQL solutions to handle diverse data workloads.Write and optimize server-side code using C# or Python to develop robust APIs and microservices that facilitate communication between cloud applications and databases.Build and maintain complex ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines using tools like Azure Data Factory or AWS Glue to ensure high-quality data integration and processing.Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to develop data processing workflows and integrate machine learning models into cloud applications.Implement advanced security protocols and best practices for cloud infrastructure to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Front-End Development

Lead the development of responsive, user-friendly web applications and dashboards using ASP.NET and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) that leverage cloud-based services.Design and implement APIs and web services that support data-driven applications, enhancing the interaction between the front-end and back-end components.Integrate cloud-based data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Apache Superset) into applications to provide users with real-time analytics and insights.Work closely with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and accessible user interfaces that enhance overall user experience and engagement with cloud applications.Utilize analytics and monitoring tools to assess user interactions and application performance, iterating on designs based on user feedback and data insights.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).8+ years of proven experience in cloud development and deployment using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Strong knowledge of cloud services, APIs, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Experience with different development methodologies including Agile/Scrum, Incremental and modified Waterfall processes.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $172,500 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The target salary is $156,040.25. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
