Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe IBM Z Washington Systems Center teams provide technical assistance to clients and the technical community to help drive and retain IBM Z HW and SW revenue. We have IBM Z hardware and software Subject Matter Experts who provide technical leadership in a wide range of workshops, studies, briefings, tools, and asset creation, highlighting leading edge solutions on IBM Z and LinuxONE.The IBM Technical Enablement Specialist understands client needs and the competitive landscape, applies technical expertise and business insight to improve our customers’ technical capabilities to increase their business value and drive IBM revenue.Key responsibilities include assisting with development and delivery of hands-on labs and demo assets, delivering technology enablement workshops, providing product demonstrations, technical education, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for new-to-market offerings in IBM Z. The Technical Enablement Specialist will also collaborate with customers to adopt new IBM hardware and software, improve resiliency and availability, assist in critical technical situations, and present at both customer and industry conferences. Additionally, the role involves providing technical expertise to support the IBM Sales team, ensuring the success of presales engagements and helping to advance sales opportunities.
